Frequently Asked Questions
I'm not an advanced player. Can I still get something out of this?
Absolutely! The lessons are geared for all types of players. There is PLENTY of content.
You can choose to do as much of the lesson as you want to. For intermediate players, learning the melody and the basic chords might be as far as they want to go. If you want to go farther, then there is a basic and an advanced solo guitar arrangement given for each song.
If you know the notes in the first position and your basic open chords then you will be able to begin learning each week.
How does it work?
Each week, usually on a Tuesday, you will receive an email with the video lesson and the PDF download. The video lesson is usually around 45 minutes in length.
Watch the video at your own pace.
Work on the song with the PDF in your daily practice time for the week.
After you've worked on the song for a week, we'll have a group zoom time where we go over the song and answer any questions you might have.
When are the zoom times? What if I can't make the zoom session?
The live zoom sessions are usually on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings.
They are all recorded and posted on our private YouTube page. So, if you can't make it, you can always watch it at your convenience.
We have many attendees that never come to the live zoom session and just watch them afterwords.
I'm not the best music reader. Is that a problem?
All musical examples and songs are shown in music notation and guitar tab.
Chord blocks and fingering notation are included as well.
How much is the cost?
The cost for the 4 week course is $100.
That's $25 for each week - a fraction of the cost of a normal lesson at your local music store.
